    Question Silica during flower

Good day to all of ya.

I've been scouring google for the answer to this and it doesn't seem to be a yes or no type question. Silica during flower?

I've read both sides of this coin: It helps promote bigger more resilient buds during flower and it produces a harsh smoke if you do it during flower.

At this point I thought I'd try and figure out if you guys and gals had experience with the pros/cons.

So thank you in advance if you're willing to share you experience, knowledge, or just some dodgy memes. Takes all kinds.

    Cheers

    B

I see no reason to delete this, one of the members may have tried using silica in flower or all the way till harvest and share their opinion here at one point or other, which not only helps you, could be useful for other members at a later date

I've personally only used silica during veg and early flower, but I do believe most use in flower up until the last 2-3 weeks to harvest.

Many also say it's not necessary for soil as there is a lot in the soil already, but useful in hydro/coco etc.

Some folks say to use hydro nutes in coco. Maybe it's alright? But sounds like 2-3 weeks before harvest. Maybe quit when you flush?

    Cheers
