I have more experience than most wrt mould. Something I had to live with growing in a large cold and damp cellar. If the plant has been stressed in any way, it's more susceptible to mould ime.
Best to be philosophical. As long as the losses to rot are minimal, it's not that big a deal. I would be extra vigilant during late flower and with 600w hps, my average was 500g of good bud plus 15g of mouldy bud. (Can't weigh mouldy bud accurately so it's a guess based on volume.)
Get into the daily routine of tapping each cola with a fingernail. Like checking a glass for cracks. At first, they'll all feel the same. If mould happens again, not that I'm wishing that on you, keep tapping the bad cola and all the other colas as well to learn the difference. There's a feel to it and with practice, you'll just know that a cola isn't right. Then you can dive in and snip out the rot.
