    Looks like a Weevil Silkadin ;

    Weevils are beetles belonging to the superfamily Curculionoidea, known for their elongated snouts. They are usually small, less than 6 mm (1?4 in) in length, and herbivorous. About 97,000 species of weevils are known. They belong to several families, with most of them in the family Curculionidae (the true weevils). Some other beetles, although not closely related, bear the name "weevil", such as the biscuit weevil (Stegobium paniceum), which belongs to the family Ptinidae.
    I don't believe it's a good one to have in the tent..I think they eat certain plants, but I guess if hungry enough they could have a nibble on the old canna too, so I'd personally get rid.

    Bit more info..

    Vine weevil is an insect that can feed on a wide range of ornamental plants and fruits, especially those grown in containers. Adult vine weevils eat leaves and the grubs eat roots.
    Yep, get rid

    If you're worried about any in the soil, then you could attack them by using nature's preds..google Vine Weevil Killer Gel Nematodes, you mix it up in the water and just apply it to the medium, they will kill any Vine weevil larvae.

    Cheers dude, i saw an image on google that made me think it was a weevil but it had slight differences so wasn't confident. But with that many varieties i could be there all day looking for the closest match lol. I dropped him out the window after taking the pic and havent spotted any others. Only 1 plant and soon to be done in a couple weeks so hopefully it's all good.

    Off to watch some insector cartoons on youtube now
