Default Cheapest effective way to discard coco runoff?

At the moment I’m using a large 50ml syringe. It can get a bit of an effort. How do you all manage your run off without going down the pump route? I was thinking a large tray 2” depth with some kind of plastic lid on top with loads of holes so that all of the run off runs into the tray and is there with perhaps a hole cut at the bottom where it can be collected or maybe a square cut out of the tray to enable a jug to go in and scoop it out in larger volume by hand. Just trying to think of a quicker easier method that doesn’t cost

Only works if your tent is raised

Raising it would cost a bit I think. But would be a good idea. Certainly give me some space to store nutes as well. Might be a long term project.

I’ll probably pick up larger syringe or hand pump at the moment. Anything to take the load off

If you need to raise your tent buy a plastic pallet and sit your tent on that Click image for larger version.

Whatever you might chuck down the toilet, if possible chuck it into a flower bed or something so the nutrients do not become a pollutant.

Part of my reason for keeping "normal" plants is to "get rid of" the run off.

This just cost me some time. Going out to the scrap wood pile after work then. That'll help the old back when doing plant maintenance as well.

Now that I think about it, you could potentially cute a hole in the bottom of the tent and tube it right into a shallow tray beneath the tent.

    Cheers and thank you.
