Default planting seedlings in unamended soil

    Hello.

I want to plant seedlings outdoors on unamended soil.

I don't have any ability to add fertilizers before planting. Becuase of two reasons:

    1. my spot will have some masking not until last days of may (leaves must grow)

    2. I plant in a meadow between many kinds of grass/weed, I have to wait until the weed grow enough high to cover my seedlings, I need to plan exact location of each seedling

I used this spot many times.

    I've never used any fertilizer.

Can you add dolomite lime during transplanting seedlings from pot to the ground?

Are there any safe fertilizer that you can add to soil during transplanting seedlings to the ground?

    thanks

    Default

Dolomite lime won't be an issue but watch out for adding fertiliser during transplant, don't use a slow release one.

Bar that, the plants should grow well but, obviously, if they are better fed, they will get better results
