    Default Leaves joint together

Bit of a noob here (first post) have noticed a problem with the top leaves on a young plant. They seem to be stuck together, like they’re one leaf??? Will try to get some pics up, if any one has any advice that would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the talk, when leaves are formed they are stuck together like that and don't split till they get a little larger.

If they continue to grow stuck together its just a genetic mutation.

    Nothing to worry about

Thanks for the reply. It seems as they get bigger they aren’t splitting apart and still joined as if they are one leaf. The only thing I’m worried about is how it’s going to effect the growth of the plant over all, do you think it would be worth topping the plant when it’s abit older or just leaving it to it’s own devices? Thanks again.

It's just the fingers fused together. Look up "Ducks foot" as a strain from some 20 years ago if you are unfamiliar with it.

TLDR, the leaves are webbed like that and so the plant does not look like cannabis. It's a mutation and as previously said, nothing to worry about.

Yeah there are some new leaves forming underneath the fused ones, fingers crossed these ones won’t be fused as well. They are still too small tell.

Thank you for the replies everyone. I will check out the ducks foot and webbed leaves info. Like you guys say, hopefully it’s nothing to worry about and just a mutation of the top leaves. They are blue treacle autos just in case anyone was wondering. Thanks again for the help.

Thanks for the info and reply. Just in case it isn’t clear from the pics it’s the fingers of two separate leaves that are fused together, I’ve tried a very gentle tug to see if they would separate but they are well and truly fused into one leaf. I know it’s most likely something I shouldn’t worry about but I’m just abit concerned about how the plant will develop.
