get your extraction and filtration sorted asap unless you want the whole street knowing what you're upto.

Security is not an area to cut costs on, buy the best rated fan/filter you can afford. If its not up to the job someone else will soon let you know

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

My first full grow was done without extractor fan and carbon filter. 400w hps, 4 x Northern Lights in dwc. They absolutely reeked. Ever had paranoia after smoking a spliff? Imagine feeling that every minute from mid flower to fully dry. Never again.

Too broke to buy a fan and filter, too dumb to abort the grow. I made a diy ozone generator that was well fierce. Every few hours, I'd run it until I could smell ozone, about 2 minutes. Too much ozone is dangerous to anything organic, including eyes, lungs and most importantly, thc. It was enough to stop the odour escaping outside but inside the flat was so bad that I wouldn't answer the door.

A fan and carbon filter taped together makes a good air scrubber. You can use it to almost eradicate the odour for the first grow (subject to size of fan/filter,) and fit it permanently for the 2nd grow.

I've read of a grower that had an o3 genny in his groom. Healthy plants with zero thc.

Dangerous in more ways than one. A lot of diy o3 gennies used the electronic transformer from a neon light. At 25kHz or so, glass appears as a short circuit to the electronics. So the protection circuit is turning itself off and on at 25kHz. Some of them have caught fire.

Mine used a 12v relay and a car ignition coil as the HV source.

When I was a kid, visits to the seaside were promoted as healthy because ozone.

ID:	400981So yes Herb was right with the Nutes.. I waited about 16 days until I added 2.5ml A&B to 1ltr of water and I’m not sure if it was a little bit late or probably the rubbish led I foolishly bought the reason to them not starting to grow quicker..

I replaced the light to a much brighter led, it cost roughly £150 but it’s awesome and will deffo do the job as long as I can..

I put the new light in about 3 weeks from day 1 and after the plants had adjusted they began to really react to the light and they have grown how they should from then.. there is a brightness switch on the light and I eased them in slowly..

I was preparing to go easy on the nutes as I read that autos don’t need a great deal but I have been feeding them medium doses one on one off and before yesterday I was happy..

I noticed small brown patches on the 2 lower fan leaves nowhere else and on closer inspection I think there are small pistols starting to appear which would make sense as there over 5 weeks old and from what I can make out the small brown patches plus purple stems plus a couple of leaves curling at first I thought magnesium deficiency but it could also be needing Some Pk to bring it into bloom??

I was hoping the JH would just take longer in time if it fell behind any ideas??

I will try and post a pic..

    Thanks in advance..

    Kevo

They are on week 5 1/2 but the jack is only about 18cm in height and the WW is about 12cm but that was planted 2 weeks after..
