    Default Watering times in soil

Hi guy's right , im growing 4 nl in 12 litre air-pots in biobizz soil 14 day's into flower.
But water is getting a problem i water 2litres per pot but with in 2 day's there dry very light but this is at like 3 oclock in the afternoon i don't want to water before light's out but if i leave them till the morning they look terrible dropping really bad.is it ok to say give them 500 ml of water at 3 o'clock then just water them in the morning ???? Im a bit lost on what to do here has i hear it's not good practice to water before light's out.
My light's come on 6 am till 6 pm.

Don't let them droop if you can help it... I mean they will come back easily but they aren't growing and such when that happens and I'm sure over time will impact quality.

I don't buy the don't water before dark bs...if they were outdoors they have evolved for a million years when it rains all the time at night

It's fine waterin before lights out like gator says, I've never bothered havin a time of day to water, just when's convenient for me. You'll just have to watch watering before lights out as humidity may rise too high

Im enjoy air pots this is my second grow, but this time i add 30% perlite for better drainage to my soil it's working great get good runoff but my soil drys a lot quicker from a 2lt watering it's only 48 to 60 hour's before next watering is ready. And with me working i worry and watering late in the day ???

Sounds about right tbf mate. My 8 ltr airpot take 3-4 ltr every 3 days, it's totally dry by the time I come to water/feed again

Like said, water when it needs it. Also, if you put a little mulch layer it might not dry out as fast.

I like straw but you can basically use whatever....I'd stay away from newspaper or any treated mulch....I don't like chemicals
