    You could 'if cleaned well' take your ones to the butchers to sharpen them. But if they have prised themselves apart over time I'd recommend the fiskars
    My wife uses Fiskars for the actual gardening. Great brand.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll pick up a new pair. The mechanism just deforms slightly, not to the sight, but enough for the blades to be off just enough not to be flush. That’s what happens when I buy cheap. It’s always an overlooked part when accumulating good tools
