The 4 autos I recently harvested got roughed up a lot early on by clumsy me and they were stunted for some time. They took a lot longer to finish than they should have done.

The age of a plant doesn't reflect the maturity of it.

Whilst most autos I grow will hit my topping node in aound 14-21 days, I've had plants that took longer to get to the same point & have been topped at in excess of 30 days - as that's what it took fopr them to get to the same position

    Thanks for the clarification
Did the plants you topped at 30 days turn out ok, besides taking longer?

As a micro grower I have topped in the past but actually did not most recently I just LST'd the main stem approximately halving the plant height. I try and keep
them under 25cms above a 1litre pot which is about 10cms high. Topping can be fine, I imagine it sets the plant back a day or 2. As long as the plant looks healthy it seems ok. First time I have not topped an autoflower and I am just as pleased. LST Training is 100pct worth doing, makes the most of the light you have and I only have 30W LED so need every lumen on the plant.
