    Default Dwc oxypot 4

Hi everyone I am about to load my clones into my new dwc system which is basically a 4 net oxypot with a 110 liter tank.
I’m coming from coco using organic bio biz nutes and wondering if I can use these in dwc?
Am I right in thinking Epsom salts help keep things clean?

Hi mate I think with dwc you're gonna want hydro specific nutes. Dont know about Epsom salts to keep it clean but in dwc you will need it as a foliar spray or calmag. Calmag is a nutrient solution that is mostly mixed in with other nutes for the plant to uptake via its roots. Epsom salts is mainly used as a foliar spray so the leaves can absorb it. I use the latter method.

I've been using H202 to keep the water clean not Epsom salt, there are organic hydroponics nutrients if you want to stay purely organic, I just use fox farms big bloom, and grow big hydroponic.

Coco nutes have a different NPK ratio to other nutes.

I used hydro Ionic nutes a few years back with coco with no problems, I assumed as the roots were just sat in a fluid the plant would eat it up haha.

Epsom salt is not for keeping things clean. You use it has a foliar feed to give magnesium.
I am not a hydro guy but you have to watch which nutes you use because they will clog
up your lines. Most folks in hydro don't use organics because of this. I am sure someone
with hydro experience will come along shortly.
