Default Right guys help please I’ve messed up...

Dried all my flowers for a week, struggled with humidity 35-45% but the temps was pretty good....15-20 degrees.

so I’ve pulled them all down today for curing, and the bud is really dry and brittle. I’ve got them in lunchbox tubs (plastic) with boveda 62 packs in them, how can I rehydrate the buds back to normal?

Heard about the bread and orange peel techniques but just wanted to see what you guys have done in the past.

    cheers guys.

Raw makes a little clay stone shaped like a leaf that you soak in water then put it in the bag with your bud, I've used those before and apple peel.

The internet seems to think a bit of lettuce works well. I tried a bit of lettuce and it worked well.

    Cheers

A lettuce leaf can rehydrate without altering the flavour of the bud.

Yeh that's right man, same goes with bread. In a 1 ltr jar at 40% humidity, a piece of bread the size of snooker chalk can be too much so keep an eye on it in case it goes well over 62%

Someone said if you have any plants to clip a leaf or two off of stick them in the jar. I tried it, seems to work slowly

Potato peel works, or a hydrostone. I have one from RAW, perfect for a 2 litre kilner jar
Lemon or orange will flavour the weed a little, quite possibly overpowering the natural terpene profile.

Boveda packs should bring them up to 62. That’s what they are for.

Not agree with that. If you end to low (ish 50) the packs will not bring the RH into the buds again. It will maybe increase it to 52-55 but the RH/terpes is lost.

The bovida packs is to maintain the RH level in the jars after you have burped them for some time. Not raise the RH
