    Default Planting auto seeds

Hi guy so I've made the adjustments to my room new qb fitted temperature holding good at 77f to 79f.lm going to start to germinate my first 4 auto's.
Question here is pot size ? I usually grow photos in a 1lt air pot then repot to there final 12lt air-pot.
Im planning on topping my auto's and i understand this has to be done early. Now should i drop my seeds straight into the 12lt air-pots and miss the 1lt pot's out and if you guy's think it is best to use the 12lt from the start what is the best way to water my seedlings in these big pot's that's my only concern has i don't want to over water ??
Medium biobizz light and extra perlite.

If you plan to top I would say go straight to final pots. No point adding transplant stress if you don't need to.

    Straight into big pots mate.

Like Mac, I'm not a soil grower either but water when the pots are dry rather than using a watering schedule

If you were to prepare your pot before you add the seed you won't need to worry about watering a seedling for a good 10-14 days depending on your environment
Fill half your pot with soil and perlite add a cup of water and mix it well and find the balance between wet/dry by adding more soil if too wet keep it light and not compacted and do same with the top half now just dont let the temp drop too low
Pop your seed in ,turn your lights on and come back in a week when the roots have developed
    Just my quids worth atb

Seen a guy water a small circle just around the seed or sprout. Probably just a shot glass or so of water. It worked for me and you gradually increase the amount of water until the plant is filling out then wet the whole soil. I was using Solo cups and lots of perlite in the mix

I plant autos in final pot, so I'd skip the 1ltr. I pour about 1/2 ltr of water in the middle of the soil where I'm gonna put the seed so it's wet enough to burrow down. I use a plastic pint cup as a humidity dome for the seed after it's sprouted a taproot and gone in soil. That effectively leaves a mote, moat? Ya know, that thing round a castle and I just water into that slowly, about 200ml as it starts to dry out, I never let it get bone dry, as long as it's not sopping wet all the time, just moist. Seems to do alright
