But that’s what’s confusing as they are looking deficient now but as I’ve explained what I’ve been giving is how you reckon it’s an over dose ?
Basically an over dose and being deficient looks the same is what you’re saying ?

Gotcha. Great advice mate. I think I will flush tomorrow also as my ec run off is about 0.2-0.3 higher than what I’ve been putting in also so maybe they are getting a tad locked out as you say.

    Just copied this

Tap water with an EC range of 0.3-0.4 is perfect, since this EC level is suitable to make the mix with fertilisers and ensure right amounts of Ca and Mg in the nutrient solution. It should be noted that, depending on the grown strain, it may be necessary to add extra calcium and magnesium during the flowering stage to prevent deficiencies from the 4th - 5th week, when plants are in full bloom.

Think I’ve read that before is that from Canna ? It makes sense. The whole calmag conundrum is so frustrating..

Always learning but I’ve also read regardless of background ec in coco you should always feed calmag.

Defo excess or lock out, tip burn. Never used calmag over 0.25mpl and that was with RO water in the mix.

Theres a fcuk load of light in there mate so everything will quickly go south if anything is amiss.

I know mate hence why I made this thread.

Run off ec isn’t as high as I thought only on the worst affected plant I’ve been feeding around 1.1-1.2 total and it’s run off is 1.3 so maybe I’ll just flush that one ?
All the others ec run off is 1.0-1.1.
Ph run off is fine on all plants.

Drop the calmag for a feed or two and see. Its easy to chase your tail with new led. I veg around 0.9-1.1 with bg of 0.5 at that stage so close enough.
