Default Cleaning the bags and mesh?

I had a buch of trim in the freezer and watched the Frency Cannoli Youtube films. So I loaded the trim in a 5 gallon bucket with ice and water and it was about full. I used a drill motor and dry wall mud mixer to stir it up. Big mistake to throw it all in one bucket. After a while I just wanted it done and over with. Ran it though the bags in about 3 runs. Ended up with not much more then a sugar cube worth.
I should have took more time with it I guess. But then the two smallest screens the 75 and the 25 microns and the drying mat were sticky and hard to clean. I soaked the drying screen in Vodka but that amount of alcohol (40%) won't melt that resin. I don't know if I should buy straight grain alcohol or use the cheap Isopropal 90% for cleaning.

Isopropyl will work fine, just rinse it well with fresh water when you're done. I actually run my bags through the washing machine after each session, hot water and soap.

I played with bubble bags once. How did I clean them? I didn't, I threw them in the bin! I always thought that BHO was a messy business, but bubble bags? Never again!

Meanwhile, I have bubble bags on my wishlist. The guys on YouTube make it look so easy. Not so I guess. Sigh.

Different folks, different strokes I suppose

By the time I'd messed about with ice & mixing... then no one mentions how long the last bag takes to drain... and that the trichs block the mesh so you keep having to 'move it about'... then the stuff is sticky... and I mean f'ing sticky! Sticks to everything! Then you have to dry it... a job by itself... and then clean the bags to do it again? Stuff that! BHO FTW!

I was in a rush, thats the wrong way to do it. Had the bucket full of trim. The drywall paddle wanted to throw it all over the floor. The drill motor has a touchy button. The trum wrapped around the paddle like seaweed. Next time small batches with a slower less powerful paddle and motor.
I think it must be a labor of love, something you like to do taking time to enjoy. I think doing it right I could have recovered much more as it is I have 7 grams dry, haven't tried it out yet. All stuff that would have went to the compost pile so what the heck

Portable/camping washing machine. These are the same as the branded bubblebagdude ones but cheaper.
No mess, timer function, works well.

Try using oil to clean oil
On hands hemp, or olive works (coconut too but it's usually solid so) then cold water to clean off. I would imagine similar would also work on the bags

I've got one of those little countertop washers and they work a treat. I've never had dirty bags I'm not sure why you guys are getting sticky stuff on the screens. Maybe not the right kind of ice?

Mineral oil works real well for cleaning up your hands afterward too.
