If it isn't the lamps and it isn't the strain, and assuming that it isn't the tap water, then could it be root bound and didn't recover when repotted?

I would not say that as the roots spread out and are like spagetti come chop time, my water is fine im in a soft water area, tbh it just seems to be these cali shit strains lol other plants do ok just chopped few big bid alas not big buds but averaged 3ox dry per plant slightly bigger but not by much.

If I'm reading it right, you are vegging in 2 litre pots then flipping to flower whilst transplanting to 12 litre for the flower period?

Once the plant initiates flower the roots don't really grow any more, it transfers most of its energy to above the ground growth. So it seems you are growing a 2 litre rootball but expecting a 12 litre plant.

My suggestion if everything else is nailed on as you say environment wise would be plant straight to your final container, don't transplant.

Grow that 12 litre rootball, give the plant the structure it needs to get hench and you should get closer to a 12 litre plant above ground
I think this post absolutely nailed the issue,if repotting I would give at least 1-2 weeks veg before going 12/12 to allow the roots to grow more and the plant to recover, maybe try repot the plants 10-14 days earlier next time?

the 12 litre pots, 9 weeks later after chop are rammed with roots, not root bound, circling wise, just nice plentiful roots, looking as if they were grown in air pots.

i'll try vegging longer and have bigger plants, btw my ph pen was busted, it had leaked water inside, bluelab too, ffs no ph issues with plants, so that's also ruled out, tbh i blame the operator.

I think we all think like that to be fair, but the more we do something, the more we learn I am sure you will find the issue soon and there will always be people around to help guide you through it. This has been a massive learning curve for me but I want to get it right I researched that much I gave my self headaches then I found this site and it was explained in easy terms I still have no idea what I am doing but I am enjoying doing it

I fecking love this. I've been on so multiple forums where the seasoned pros thought they just knew everything there was to know.

This attitude of 'always learning' is a wonderful thing. When new ideas meet experience, leaps and bounds can be made in any hobby.

    Cheers Krofam,

Yes but the roots continue to grow until the plant dies anyway bud,by giving your plants 10-14days recovery before flipping them below and above the soil/coco makes a major difference, try it and I'll bet you notice a HUGE difference.

Tbh it has to be what you state, my mate grows exact same strains does what you say, 14 days after repotting before he places into veg, he just got 20oz from 4 x plants in 1m x 1m tent, so as he does everything the same water supply, feed, similar lights, but allows 14 days before flip.
so tonight i shall place my plants into their final 12 litre pots, and start 14 days of 24/7 vegging.

thanks for all the good advice folks.
