The AC Infinities don't move any more air than their competitors it seems. Is the lack of noise the big draw?

They have an ec motor. That allows a controller to turn in down to the minimum to keep neg pressure
and control smell. Regular fans can't do this and will turn off when temps and humidity are good.

A half decent fan controller prevents this...

Do any other fans have an ec motor? I don't need the climate control feature that the ac infinity has. Plain vanilla and quiet is all I want from a fan.

the AC infinity come in 2 models, T model with the temp control and S model with a manual speed control. Then they sell a controller separate to convert the S to a T if required.

    S model is cheaper too

I guess I'd better refresh my memory on this.
I do know being brushless and direct current they are far more efficient meaning less heat,
    and less noise.

The Cloudline S4 is looking good.

Running a cmh 24/0 is costing me almost £13 a week and 20% of that is the fan.

205 cfm and my cupboard is 56 cubic feet. Being conservative and allowing 50% less airflow because of the filter, that's still almost 2 exchanges of air per minute.

    Current fan @ 40% power, 80w = £2.55 a week.

S4 at max draw 28w = £0.87 a week. Will pay for itself in 70 weeks or less.

If I can also get the 100w led that is currently out of stock, I'll go from almost £13 a week to almost £4 a week.

Hope they pay you well Farmer G. I'm sold. I like the maths.
