I can't amend the original title or thread but as I was chatting with pals on Whatsapp it led to... summer love. Because, well, summer, fall in love to soppy love song, or just remember...moments.

I would like to keep this to summer songs, if you have a reason why the song is a memory please share. I'll start the ball rolling...

    (1973)
I was 13, I went to my local park with my "girlfriend" of 22 hours 15 minutes, possibly.

I took a radio and this played, we were sitting under a tree facing the sun. 47 years on I can still feel how nervous I was putting my arm around her. Music huh?

    Can't remember her name though...

Me too, and proud to be an old hippy.

What a tune, snuggling up to my girl over the park. 15 years old. Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii lurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrv youuuuu, brings a sentimental tear to my eye.
1976, THE summer, fuck it was hot. And I started training as a chef. Doh!

A while back I treated myself to a set of Bose headphones, I'll never look back. I love them.

I started listening to this through my Pioneer/JBL surround sound system. 20 seconds in I'm wearing my Bose. This is the music that makes me want to pick up my guitar and try to learn again. Sadly, every guitar I have owned has met the death of the F cord. I am sure it was named F cos it is a fucker. So am I. Guitar loses, I lose. Everytime. I have 2 more guitars under my bed, just in case I ever learn to control my temper.
It is 7.55 am. decision made. I will try again. I really hate losing. I'll post picks of the shattered guitar when it happens
