Default Why is she so damn small (Garden of Green - Critical XXL *autofem*

    Sooo

This 'little' lady is just over 2 months old and has been in flower for a little over 2weeks.

Garden of Green - Critical XXL autofem

    Homemade compost, coco, ewc
    8G Fabric pot

    Why is she so small?
1l organicus bottle for scale, that leaf is the biggest on the whole plant!

Only thing i can think of that has stunted her this much (last pic) i checked on her one morning and she was bent over at that point (little bump near bottom of stem) so i tied her to a stick and let her grow, but ive got others in the same soil, greenhouse, pots and none of them randomly folded over.

Also im assuming her leaf colour and weird shape are due to nutrient cock ups by me.

Thanks in advance guys Click image for larger version.

Some times they just don't develope A good root system, I have no idea why, but they just do. I have one now doing the same thing. Been growing 23 days, now, and only about 3" tall.

An xxl at 10 weeks you say? If that was my plant, I would chop it down and pop another seed. You might get an 8th of finished bud from that, probably not though.

You could be onto something there, theres also a 'wedding cake' bag seed i planted in the ground which is still tiny compared to the others from the same bag...

Guess ill just see how she finishes

Yeah big shit aint it lol

I would love to chop and start again, but i am completely out of autos (this was the last of the auto seeds i had)

Only got photos left and with my current setup ('greenhouse' in the uk) i think i may be a bit late to get somwthing into flower and finish before we have our wonderful humid british weather around sept/oct ????

Im also quite intrigued by what the final yield will be on such a small plant

Why not try and take A few cuttings, and see if they will grow. JMO

Well....not consistently, but with good reason (at least thats what i tell myself haha)

So since im in a greenhouse in a pretty humid/wet part of the country, and am lucky if i get full sun exposure of 8hours - east facing garden with a huge council tree line to the south so only half the garden actually recieves light. My pots take forever to actually dry up.

So when the weather has been nice i have been watering every 2days and feeding organicus 99 with liquid seaweed every watering for maybe 4 weeks, but when the weather has been shit (most of this year) my pots a sometimes taking nearly a week to even slighty dry up its just too humid/wet so during shit weather watering and feeding every 4/5days.

Bottom line ive got a terrible grow situation, not enough light, too humid and too much wet weather. But it still beats buying any bud

Oh yeah and ive been top dressing with charge every 3rd watering, not huge amounts just a dusting tbh. And 4 days ago got an ewc top dress.

And ive been adding molasses to the water/feed for maybe 3 weeks.

I'd be willing to bet the growth has been stunted due to prolonged saturation of the medium...When the medium is sopping wet the plant is unable to process (drink & transpire) the amount of water it contains, the medium then becomes depleted of oxygen...If the humidity is high also this will just exacerbate the issue because of the lack of natural evaporation..Easy to check if this is the issue by examining the roots. A healthy well established plant should have nice white roots and will have filled out the pots...If you have tan or brown roots and poor root development it will most likely be prolonged over saturation...Trouble is it's a bitch to remove the plant from a fabric container to examine them..

    Regards BL
