Cannacaps how I make them

@SilverBud - are you checking the temperature with a gun? Presumably yer cheapo magnetic stirrer hasn't a temperature gauge at that price point? Is it tricky to keep it at 85C? (An ebay item number would help?)

I’ve never used a temp gun but it seems to work just fine,the only with thing with the cheap ones is they will go straight up to 100c then drop down to the temp you have set it to but this has never been a problem for me

Couldn’t find an eBay number but this the one I use a quick search for hot plate stirrer on the bay will find them they are around £54

Ah, perfect! I've gone for an analogue stirrer and a gun...same difference.

I'll experiment with plain MCT to get the temperature sorted.

I’ve been making my cannacaps the same way for the last 4 year or so,I use these daily for osteoarthritis in my spine and hips.I’ve been prescription meds free for this time and these work unbelievably well for me.
Indica strains work best for my needs,here’s how I make them.
Ingredients.
MCT oil.
00 size gel caps (these hold just under 1ml of liquid)
The best buds you can use. (I never use trim or popcorn buds that’s for bubble hash)
Hot plate stirrer (mine is a cheap £50 one from the bay it works just fine).

Method. These temps and times work for me.
1g of flower to 10ml oil this will make 10 cannacaps I usually make them in batches of 100-200
So 10g makes 100 in 100ml of oil.
I decarb the flower at 150 fan oven for 25 mins
Grind flower and add to oil in a lab beaker.
I set the hot plate stirrer to 85c
Once on the hot plate I leave it stirring at constant temp for 10-12hrs
Strain and allow to cool,once cool fill gel caps and enjoy
These caps are around 100mg each.

OOOOOO yeah. I will def try this out. Was looking at a crock-pot but they where very expensive xD Been trying decarbed pills with no luck. Might just be me xD But this lookes very interesting! You can also use coconut oil.

I find it best to take the caps with food or just after food for quicker effects.
MCT oil is a naturally saturated fat and will absorb more cannabinoids more readily than say butter or hemp oil ect plus it’s quite good for you.
I’ve kept these caps in the fridge for up to 4 month and they have been fine.

How do you grind the decarbed bud, @SilverBud? I'm only gonna do 5g of premium flower to start with for 100x 50mg caps.
