Before grow tents were available, people built a grow cab or used a large closet. Tents became popular because they appeal to those who can't/won't diy. So many use tents now that it's easy to assume that they're essential. If you're ok with diy, you have options other than a tent. If there's a spare room, growing open plan is a cheap possibility. For many years, I used 'open cabs'. No top or bottom to them. The walls were only to reflect light, air had easy access in from the bottom and out through the top. Although a tent may be best for you, no harm in considering other options first.

Rather than start with what you think you need, decide on how much yield you want per year and work backwards from there. An ideal setup imo will give you a years supply in 2 grows.

Lack of space is the reason. I am living in a 1 room apartment so this is the max size for me atm.

I did have a design for a 60cm x 120cm grow drobe built from 15mm melamine. The reason for flat pack wardrobes being wobbly is that the back isn't fastened. It's a thin piece of hardboard slotted in. Done for economy. If the back of the drobe is also 15mm melamine it will be rock solid and won't look out of place in a bedroom. Unlike a tent.

I can draw up the plans if you're interested.

It's 7 pieces of 60cm x 240cm* melamine. 2 for the sides, 2 for the back, 2 for the doors and 1 for the top and bottom. Plus a 15cm wide piece for where the 2 doors meet.

    *Cut to the desired height.

It has a built in passive inlet + light baffle. A cardboard box on top to hide the fan + filter, no ducting needed.

I am interested in the future when I have a bigger apartment or house. At the moment I go with the grow tent. It is easier for me... and thank you anyway

Plenty of other decent manufacturers, I have a migro and invisible sun too but it's been said many times that Hlg are top of the game.
I have 2 of those ac infinity fans. 4 inch. My grow room is 100x100x180 and its more then enough. I can also advice you to get the S version for silence. They are very quite been running the fan on 5/10 during veg and 7-8/10 during flower so more to go on. Only now under the heat wave have i had it up to 10/10.

Whats your budget for a light?

Thank you! I plan to spend up to 150€ and I am now also considering 90x90x180 grow tent. I am considering to put 3 hlg 100w led lights there so together 300w. I am not sure yet is it okay or too much 300w.

Haven't fitted them yet but I bought 2 x HLG 100 to cover my 86cm x 86cm cupboard. I think 3 would be overkill in that space.

I forgot that these lights are dimmable so I can change the strength.

The 100w isn't dimmable mate, higher models are. But having used one from seed the 100w on a seedling wasn't an issue. Have you looked at hlg uk or which ever site you're ordering from? To see which model best fits. Each one will give a light footprint for veg and flower
