    Default Too many options!

Hi all. Since my DR120 is starting to fail on me (damage to fabric letting in light and sick having to try and tape it up and zip starting to go) and I am looking for a new tent. There are so many out there I am a little paralyzed in buying.

I am looking for what everyone else is - a leak proof tent with good long lasting zips that wont fall apart when you stick a filter and lights up. Has anyone any recommendations for someone on a budget? I think I need something a little stronger fabric wise than the DR offers as I have to fold the door away when I open the tent. Buying in the UK and obviously need discreet packaging too.

Thanks to all for the help.

budbox at growell. since they upgraded their poles, its a much better tent. still have a 120x240 in storage.

as with lights, you wanna spend a bit on the tent. saves you buying 2-3 times...

If the tent is going to be a permanent fixture, consider building a cab instead.

If you want budget you'll get what you pay for, having said that I bought a 90x50x160 off amazon for 40-50 squidish and it seems sound, just completed a grow in it. I like my green qube the most, thick poles, tough fabric, strong zips so it seems

    Thanks for the responses guys.

I have built a specific room to house my flowering tent and the rest of the space is devoted to propagation and vegging. That is why I would need a tent the same size as the DR120 - it was built to house that size of tent. Obviously as there will be a MH light outside the tent the thicker the better and good zips are a must - why do manufacturers skimp on such a vital part?

You could run the mh from the same 12/12 timer/contactor as the flowering light. With a 6w household led running 24/0 to stop the vegging plants from flowering. Won't need extra thick fabric to stop 6 watts of light. I've done similar and it works well.

Means that you'll get some more grows from your existing tent.

That's a really smart idea - thanks very much for that, regardless of the tent I just might do that anyway.
