Wings will grind pegs. When I bought mine I completely had the pegs, tip over covers ground up and the tires shredded in 1K miles. As good as it is,,, it's still under powered and a bit boring. Click image for larger version.

Looks pretty tight psy! I like the modern styling of the late model wings. I would actually love to have a road bike, but too much of a headache clearing with the wife. Got one child headed off to college next year, and another who still has 5 more years. Maybe once our major obligations are cleared I could retire into a cozy cruiser like that. Funny, but over the years I have seen a couple people hotdogging some of the older body style wings threading through highway traffic as if they were fun obsticles. I thought it was funny/crazy for such a massive bike, especially never have driven one. That vid Deku posted was something else! I think that I heard a few peg grinds on that trip, but man that dude displayed some nice work handling that beast!

I have no wife problems at all. I wont tolerate anybody dictating how I live much less fufu. We have raised three girls, put two through college as near useless as that was. When I met the lady who became my second wife I was on a 95hp RZ350 spitting fire and hate out of it's expansion chambers. First time she came over to my home she was greeted by the RZ350 and it's big brother the RZ500 in the dinning room, stacks of crated up engines in one corner, stacks of tires in another corner, a china cabinet full of oil, carbs, chains/sprockets, jet kits, bushings, bearings and other small parts. With the two demon spawn clean and resting peacefully in the depths of winter. She knew from the start I have gasoline in my veins, embrace it or down the road with yeah. She embraced it and we have been together ever since. She has never said boo or hiss concerning my motorcycles, shooting, reloading, growing, extreme home audio,,,, none of it. The Wings handle pretty good for 800+lb bikes. Center of gravity being so low helps them a lot. I've been wanting to sell the Wing. I can get more for it now than I paid for it new and get a 2022 FJR1300 seeing this is the last year for them in the USA,,, great bikes,,, I've owned a few over the years. My wife is a gem! I love her dearly.

A wonderful post psy, and it's very similar to how my wife is with me..she's always put up with my 'hobbies' through the years, and always smiles when I explain purchases to 'improve' whatever hobby I'm into at the time

My two kids always joked abut what my next 'focus' or passion would be, but growing is the one that stood the test of time, right from when I was aged 13 and upwards, never left me.

Of course this respect goes both ways, and I'm sure it does with you too..I will always help and stand behind whatever my wife is wishing to achieve, same with the kids

A lovely photo, cheers for sharing bud.

30 years ago I sold my 1977 iron head sportster when my first son was born.
I liked the drink and the two don't mix.
Now I don't drink and I miss my scooter.
But no regrets. Ride free brothers.

Yes it's a two way street. Her first husband was abusive alcoholic. My first wife had her cheese slip off her cracker and ended up manic, bi-polar with multiply personality's.

    Btw Deku,

Beautiful bikes you guys have there! I have always wanted to ride street, but my wife limits me to offroad due to the zombie drivers. Best I can get out of her is dual sports where I explain to her that we just connect trails on the street.. lol.. I'm sure it's probably a thrill to lay down some miles on those machines!
Thanks man, haha funny you say that my other half is exactly the same and I have just given her the same speal and managed to buy a husky 701en without her leaving me loving being able to pull out of the house and go for a spin as with the mx there’s a lot of loading, unloading and a shit load of cleaning
