I used to ride offraod on the trails so i did need to have some sort of road legal bike but not a high powered road going bike. there was a power limit something like 14hp and no bigger than a 125cc so i used to get a 2 stroke 125 like a ktm or gas gas enduro but then have the crank and topened changed to a 200cc with a few other mods lol.

I once bought a aprilia rs125 factory derestricted jesus...... Anyone been on one???

110mph on a 125 2t with crazy acceleration, soon as that power valve opened up and you kept her in the band jesus wept! Had to sell that little thing man pure death trap

When i first bought it i had to get it to a mot test station, threw it in a van and dropped it off.

Picked it up later that day, the receptionist made a comment about the guy who took it for a quick road test was really suprised at how quick it picked up in the power band and how quick it got to 60 apparently it was a dangerous little thing he rode a hyabusa hahaha.

The 79' Honda CB650 is my current ride. Been riding for around 25 years so I've had many different sport, cruisers, and dirt bikes. And yes I ride in the winter sometimes here in Canadia...

    Deku,

Ran across this thread earlier in some down time perusing that which is not new..

Been riding offroad for some time now. Current bike is an 07' CRF450X. Tagged, worked, Rekluse auto-clutch, Tubliss inserts. Pic was taken after an annual two day enduro/dual sport ride in the mountains of VA/WVA. 150mi each day. Nothing but a good time! Used to do some hare scrambles at a very amateur/casual level. Previous whips KTM 450EXC, Honda CR250 (set up for woods), a couple of Honda XR's,and a number of short term bikes as a kid. My first bike was a ragged out 1981 Maico 490 (2-stroke) that I had to heat the copper head gasket and reseal after about every 20-30hrs.. Lol,freaking hooligan! My parents had the cops called to the house a few times.

Most current giddy-up has us sitting on a good many of acres of interconneted trails tween myself and the neighbors, so life is good in that regard!

Nothing like running through a tank of gas (or a few) to clear your mind.

    Have fun, be safe!
