Default Do I need a ballast with Hlg 300l rspec?

Hey guys. I know Jack about electrics, and was wondering if I have to use a ballast with LED like you do with HPS? Also if I'm running 24/0 will I need a contactor/timer or can I plug it directly into a wall or extension tower?

No, No ballast for LED'S, and yes you can plug straight into the Wall.
