    Default Hlg 300l rspec?

How's it going. I was looking to buy some equipment from led grow shop uk but noticed the hlg 300l rspec isn't in stock. Will it be back soon, or are there any other lights I can use in a 2x4?

I'm not familiar with hlg but good lights are plentiful even mars is using Samsung diodes in the better stuff now.

I've not long ordered 2x 240w Samsung 3/5k mix uv, ir, red 301h chips and a meanwell driver for £152 each.

hi they are on their way, approx 4 weeks

Samsung are the official horticulture partner to HLG. Grow lights are not created equally.

Mars do not use Samsung's top bin diodes.

I said they use 301s which they do in the fc/sp range.

Aye - I'm sure Mars do use them but they're unlikely to be the most efficient 301s made. I can't see Samsung selling their best and most efficient diodes to a competitor.

    Seriously?
You think one 301 is different to another, 301
Samsung is wholesale supplier the only competition is lights not using Samsung.

Yes. And as far as I can remember the difference between a top bin diode and the next down could be around a 15% loss of efficiency.

    HLG is Samsung.
