They're ok from what I've seen but you would be better off investing in something with a lot more bang if you were going down the LED route.

not sure about this video, 10 years ago, there would be a lot of growers doing a SCROG or SOG under a t5 system like this.

This chart from MIGRO looks more realistic, growth and buds growth slows down under 200

So I am thinking 700 would best growth/yield per watt, its more effective to buy a slightly larger tent than start adding co2, more space, bud and less stress on the plants.
don't know why anybody would be talking about 2,000 par or the plant going to die under 400 par, just beyond me.

been really looking into things and I am thinking about using the telos 0006 pro because the basic telos was very effective in a 2ft x 2ft

3 plants in early veg under twin t5 tubes in 1.9ltr, I will finish training /vegging 3 plants(mainline) in the veg(mid veg) room(5 weeks)under a telos 0006 pro(25ltr pots) before moving them in the flower room (leave the flower room on 12/12 (8 weeks each) guessing I could get 6-8oz's each plant. (8 week cycle), total watts for the veg and flower (750w).

based on the Spectro led, I could have this setup 45-50cm above the canopy

    This should give me a par reading between 700 and 900 for a 2.4m x 0.8m, one light for each plant (3 x 175w).

There is a YouTuber called "Welcome to the Grow Tent" who recently just switched from T5 lighting and everything he grows looks great.

T5s were good in their day but 315w cmh beats them easily. The now discontinued Philips Retro White 400w cmh was an excellent vegging light and was also better than T5s. (Not as good as the 315w cmh though.) The only reason I'm going to led from cmh is leccy costs.

I reckon I'll get similar results from 2 x HLG 100 as I have been getting from my 315w cmh. 320w draw replaced by 192w draw.
