    Default Dietrich Art

Just picked up a grinder from the head shop, I was looking for another single stage Grindhouse, or another Santa Cruz shredder but the art work on this one caught my eye.

What really sold me on it was the fact that it's not threaded at all, it uses what's called an L lock system so it shouldn't ever gunk up and get hard to get off, ohh and no more cross threading.

I looked up the art on top it's called "1969". I copied the description from his website.
This piece was done as a poster for the Woodstock 50th Anniversary show that was ultimately cancelled due to the financiers of the festival pulling out last minute. The idea is of a woman with the Woodstock peace dove on her head playing a guitar to the next generation, showing them that Dubstep is not music.

I was playing with an L-lock grinder just last week. Tough to get rid of ol reliable though. After 12 years, just gave it its first clean lol.

This is beautiful man. And those teeth look "bitey".

    What diameter?

    Cheers

    It's 2.25"
Unfortunately both of my old trustees grew legs about 3 month ago and walked off.
They took about 2oz with em when they went too, must have been a hell of a sight seeing two grinders wobbling off with a jar much bigger than them.

Yeah I wouldn't mind if the punishment for thieves was cutting off a couple fingers, or even a hand.

I couldn't find out, there were no stickers denoting where it was made on it, and I searched the website to see if it was posted there, no dice.
If I had to hazard a guess I would say China.

I sent an email to the company and asked who makes them. They have sister site in Australia.

I believe they did that in South America once. Maybe not, but did hear something like that.

I had the great misfortune of watching a video of a thief getting defingered. I believe it was in the middle east.

Gruesome. Most likely an effective deterrant however.

    Cheers

Thanks Jingo, will you update us once they let you know? You have gone and gotten my interest piqued.

I read an article a couple years ago that in Iran they would cut 4 fingers off the right hand for the FIRST time you get caught stealing. Does that mean some people try again after that?

Yeah I bet, not something I would want to witness, but George Carlin used to do a skit on bringing back public executions, it's a really funny skit.
