Hey guys im sure someone here will be able to answer my questions.
Ive got 2 plants that are 3 weeks-ish into flower, in homemade soil and has been fed organically (organicus 99, molasses, charge top dressing and liquid seaweed concentrate) up till this point.
Im growing outdoor/greenhouse (its one of the 'pop-up' plastic jobbies) so not really a proper greenhouse and is terrible for humidity, so much so that expect mould in my grows now rather than hope it doesnt happen.
So i guess i would love someones input on the following...
Can i switch to synthetics this late?
If i do switch will adding molasses once/twice a week keep the microherd that ive built alive?
Main reason im thinking of switching to synthetics, is because im nearing the end of my 'season' and the humidity goes through the roof, and my plants are still very much in early flower. As mentioned above i expect mould now so the more bud 'real estate' the better so that cutting out mould/rot doesnt mean my cutting whole crop down and binning it!
Little bit of loss on a decent harvest is way better than a little bit if loss on a small harvest.
My thought process is that synthetic nutes are available quicker than organics and therefore speed up bud development....i could be very wrong, so please correct me.
Tia for any advice you guys have got
Dont think it makes a difference but, they are prana skunk X hemp, one is in a fabric pot and the other is in a plastic pot.
As you can see from the pics, plenty of bud sites and if i was in full control of the environment (i.e growing in a tent) then id stick with organics, but the sun and humidity dont really want to listen to me ????
