Default veg room Light for upto 6 plants

I want to buy 6 of these, 6.99 each, and use these bulbs £39 for 10
    Space them out 2 rows of 3 to cover a 15" x 21 x 2ft high( just enough to fit 6 x 6.5ltr pots), that's 2ft2(37.5w per ft2)

I will switch one light on for the clones and turn an extra light on as the plants grow and I pot them up, this will save space and power.
Does anyone know how reliable are lampholder are?
Do they burn out quick or last years?

This would Cost less than £80 and I think the results would be really good, easy and effective.
Total Watts 12.5 x 6 (75w), I will cut the frosted plastic cap off.

Should be fine regards lighting. Only thing you would need to worry about is moisture ingress, specially if you are cracking the bulbs open.

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

Thanks, Mac, going to make some 2 short square ducting going into the flower room( just enough to stop the light) one will have a 4" main powered pc fan to extract the air and humidty, the other pice of ducting (50% larger) will pull air in from the flower room.
    Should have good airflow
Will paint the inside of the ducting black, test pots from b&q should do the job

I've used those type LED'S before. Great for Veg, but not much for flower.

Thanks George, I will really happy if I can get my plant 6" high and 6"wide with this setup, don't think I have ever flowered off a plant much larger than this.
Imo a larger veg room, would be a waste of electricity and space (upto 6 plants).

been looking on amazon and these have got the highest rating, Akynite E27 Screw Light Bulb Socket Holder £12 for 4 so I have brought 2 packs (8 holders)
(The main part of the E27 lamp bulb holder is ceramic, high-temperature resistant (500?), safe and durable. The base is made of flame-retardant material.) best safe than sorry.

Philips 12.5w daylight has the best rating, think they are the best brand of lights you can buy.
so 10 bulbs and 8 lamp holders cost £62

Here is the design I have come up with, my black trays are 60cm x 40cm so it makes sense to make the veg room this size.
Going to plug the 3 plugs in an extension lead with a switch on each socket, so I can switch each set of bulbs on/off as I need.

After thinking more about this veg light, went to my local grow shop to buy 6 pots, thinking between 3-6ltr, brought the 6.5ltr, they are 21cm wide and 22cm high so, I could just pull this off, I want each plant to have its own light, 12.5w covering an 8" canopy would be over 35w ft2,
Found a pice of board in my shed 18mm x 34cm x 62cm, should do the job
Still have the wire I cut off my old garden stremmer, wiring all lamp holder on one plug,

The lamp holders will be dead center of every 6.5ltr pot, still waiting for the bulbs but have checked each lamp holder works.
Here a picture, should be up and runnig by the weekend. ( all of 75w lol)
