Mine were in 5L regular pots and p/v isn't noted for being the best yielding media. Grown free range, 3.5oz each. I managed to kill the 4th plant by overwatering. (Never feed p/v more than once a day.) That could have given me the 2oz psf.

They were getting 45w psf of cmh lighting, albeit 12/12. Would that give an identical growth rate to 22.5w cmh @ 24/0?

Do you notice any difference in taste between 20/4 and 24/0 bud?

To be honest I haven't. I do water cure quite a lot of my weed though so it kind of all tastes the same that way, but I can't say I've noticed much difference in my dry cured stuff.

I've never had a discerning palette for weed so can't help on the taste differences.

Just had a single skinner of my 24/0 Auto Jack and it seems not much different in effects to the 12/12 AJ I had this morning. Maybe a touch more body stone than head high as it was further along when chopped.

    ..."water cure"...
Not familiar with that. I'll have to do some research.

Submerge the weed in water, totally. Takes about 7 days & change the water daily... I think they suggest doing it in the fridge?

Pros: Ready to smoke 7 to 8 days after being chopped. Much less weed odour when being smoked, helps with stealth toking. No loss of thc, only vegetable matter has been removed.

Cons: No bag appeal. About 25% less weight*. The taste is bland.

*That shouldn't matter to personal growers.

Yes basically this. If taste, smell and bag appeal are important to you then this isn't for you lol. I should add that you get a super smooth smoke with water curing and its very stealthy for sure. I usually add a few drops of orange tasty puff too lol.
