    Default HPS for lighting Autos???

I've only ever grown from regular and fem seeds and would like to try Autos. Problem is I don't want to make a huge investment in additional equipment and/or space.
Can you grow autos with HPS lights? I have a 150 watt and 400 watt.

No problem at all with autos & HPS

Probably best to just stick with one auto under a 150w HPS though. If you are interested, Sunmaster do a 150w dual spectrum HPS bulb

Used to use HPS for auto's all the time,I used to swear by 24/0 lighting for auto's but now I'm sure that 20/4 produces better taste.

Awesome...that was my next issue to ponder .
What about 18/6...not preferred for any autos??

You could run 18/6 if you want but the plants will get less light over a 7day period than say 20/4 or 19/5 etc..

IMO 18/6 = smaller plants or less yield or both.

Hi mate. Would you run led's at 24/0 with Autos? Or 20/4 ?
I'm doing my first Autos and I'm currently blasting them with 24/0.

I blasted mine with 24/0 under LED at first but I've since dropped to 20/4,24/0 gave me huge yields but the taste wasn't great so I've switched to 20/4 to see if the taste improves with a short dark period.
