Default No trichomes 5 weeks into flower...sister is ok though?

Hi friends. I have 2 Green Cracks growing outside side by side, from the same seed packet- both in flower for about 5 weeks, one is almost 10 feet, the other just over 7 feet. The bigger one has been a lot slower developing its buds, but upon closer inspection today I noticed it doesn’t even have trichomes?! Worried it’s freaked out or something.

I’ve basically treated them the same, with periodic Gaia Green treatment, same watering etc. EXCEPT for 4 days ago when I thought maybe it needed more food, so I gave it a smallish dose and water.

ALSO- I've noticed the sites around the buds have leaves curling up, this is maybe more recent thing. See pic.

    Heaven help me.

The pictured plant is barely in flower, just a slow poke. I wouldn't worry about few trichs that early in flower, it will come as the plants ages and the buds form. BTW, just because it's from the same seed packet doesn't mean it came from the same plant or even the same phenotype.
