    Default Problems help :)

    Hello allll.

First time grower in coco plus here.

I have my seedlings in their second to last pot before I put them in their 15l forever homes. I’m about 2 weeks into veg in the smaller pot and already seeing EC burn. I measured run off of ec today am some was as high as 4+ I know this is far from ideal but I am feeding as it says which is 2ml per litre. So the question I’m unsure of here is if I’m feeding as it says I’m getting ec burn if I lower the dose I’m sure il start getting decencies ? So wtf do I do ? I’ve flushed all plants with bio bizz algamic and ph’d water to correct them for now

    Using
    Advanced nutrients a & b
    B-52
    Cal mag
    House garden root excil
    All at recommended doses ????????
Hopefully this post has made sense. Thanks for the time!

Cut the ec down a bit and throw the guides away, increase the feeds when the plants lighten up in colour

Genuine question why are people using ec when growing in coco (ec only tell you there particles in the water not what they are) never used ec ever in coco but its a must for hydro, i just start out at 1ml per ltr of base nutes for the first week then bump it up by 0.25 ml each week till i get tip burn then adjust it down again the 4 auto's I've got going at the minute are only on 1.5 ml base nutes (my max strength is 4ml per ltr of water) plus additives oh and i don't use calmag for the first 3 to 4 weeks (just as they start to flower) oh and pH is sooo important (veg 5.6 to 5.8 and in flower 5.8 to 6.2)

I used to check my EC years ago when I would really push my plants to the limits(I would note my EC levels for each strain at each growing stage),now I just check PH.

I've only used ec/tds when running bubble Buckets to see if the ec goes down (more nutes or goes up less nutes) but in my defence I'm a lazy barstool
