Thanks Grorge, this is great advice, down to earth, honest advice. gives you the facts.
Sativa are stretchy tall plants with small leaves that grow in humid environments with high leaves of light.
Indica are short plants with masive leaves that grow in cooler climate with Low levels of light.

You can grow a strain that best fits your flower room and select the best phonetype from a pack of seeds that is most frutfull in your flower room.
Could be 25c with low humidty or 35c with high humidty.
A high bud to leave ratio sativa plant will need double the light vs a short leavey indica plant In the same flower room
All the test I have seen, are based on sativa plants needing upto 1000 par(max) without c02, cost effective is 700 and guessing an indica could be as low as 400, maybe 600 par would burn the leaves on some indica plants.

Could be why so many growers buy the correct leds for there flower room and most grower dim the leds.
Somethings no quite right with them ( so many growers are having problems)

That is the first thing I learn about my LED, was how to burn the plant. haha

“Abandon the sativa/indica nomenclature,” Russo urges. “Rather insist that accurate biochemical assays on cannabinoid and terpenoid profiles be available for Cannabis in both the medical and recreational markets. Scientific accuracy and the public health demand no less than this.”

This is where the doctor should have gone into the entourage effect. Seems he alienated his audience.

    Cheers

What Russo doesn't understand is that use of the words "Sativa" and "Indica" is here to stay according to the Taxonomic researchers. Time has IMO defined their physical/mental effects rather nicely. We don't need expensive biochemical assays and profiles to tell us what we already know from experience.
