A few years late with this intro

Hi Everyone,
I Joined in 2016 but never formally introduced myself. I’m one of those AARP smokers that discovered cannabis late in life. I’m a soil grower with a small tent grow. Currently growing 3 Blue Dream and 2 Zkittelz. Haven’t grown in a while, so I’m back on the websites studying up. I look forward to learning from you, and I’ll help out where I can.

I’m working on switching over to an Autopot system to automate my feeding, so I will also be switching from soil to coco with my next grow. Plenty to learn.

Here’s my current grow…
Seeds: Nirvana Blue Dream and Nirvana Zkittelz
Soil: Fox Farm Ocean Forest mixed with additional perlite
Container: GroPro Warrior pots (5gallon)
Nutrients: GH Flora Trio plus Kelp Extract, Diamond Nectar, Armor Si, Flora Blend. (Oh, and a weekly dose of Recharge!! )
Plant Training: Topping, Lollipopping

I’d like to learn more about coco, plant training, and curing, so you’ll see me on the forum reading up.

Thank you Barney. I’m months away from any Blue Dream, but I have a little Gorilla Glue here to keep me occupied. I think I’ll survive.

Those are Timber cobs. After running a 1,000 watt HID for a few years, I was worried about making the transition to LED. These have met all my expectations.

Thank you Deku Nut. You’re right. The Bucket head is awesome. The other item I swear by is the battery operated liquid transfer pump. So much easier than the watering pot I used before. Thanks for the welcome……see you around the site.

Yeah man I'm always on, I just realized I didn't comment on the Ocean Forest soil, I have done most of my grows using it, and I just bought one of the same looking plant caddys for my coco grow, really digging your setup.

Thank you V8. Hard to believe I joined 5 years ago and I haven’t posted until now.

It’s a 5x5 and I find that I can grow four plants comfortably in there. I’m already questioning if 5 is too many this time and they are only 6 weeks old. I only have enough lighting to cover a 4x4 footprint too, so I don’t like to put plants up against the edges of the footprint.

Funny timing…..I assembled these plant caddies today. They have a water reservoir under the caddy that will hopefully make it easier to empty (or make a total mess). This will be my first feeding……hope they work.
