Hey hey New Here
Hey All, I recently harvested the first plant of my first outdoor grow here in Michigan. I’ve started dry trimming and I feel very lost. Came here for some advice and to learn for next years grow. I really enjoy growing outside. We have a veggie and flower garden as well and the Cannabis looks great in the backyard. I have a southeast facing sun room so I started my plants inside in late March. Had some feminized and some regular, they all turned out to be female, probably because I started them when temps were still pretty chilly.
I’m a rugby player so I started using cannabis mostly for pain and sleep. My favorite way to consume is probably joints which was another motivation to grow, so I would have plenty of bud for that.
Below is some of my first trimmed bud. It’s a 30:1 CBD plant so I think it’s just leafy? Idk I want this stuff to look good for when I gift it but I have no idea what I’m doing. I saw in a vid that some trimmers gently squeeze buds together after snipping stem bases to get a nice looking nug? Lmk your thoughts! Thanks everyone, happy to be here!

Good morning Michigan and welcome to the show!
I think your trim looks just fine. Unless you're selling the stuff and need your bag appeal to beat out your competitions' I don't see a great reason to go any further than you've already gone.
Oh, unless you're entering a photo competition or just want some online points, which I COMPLETELY understand. As far as a gift... Shit man, if someone gives me bud that looks like yours, I'm certainly not going to complain about it.
Maybe you could pop up a diary next go round. We'd love to share in your journey.

Hi and welcome.
When I gift bud, I put it in the cardboard tube that comes with a roll of toilet paper. Then I gift wrap it so that it looks like a Christmas cracker.
No complaints so far.
