I have (had?) Pure O OCD which manifests as intrusive thoughts rather than physical actions. It developed through a deeply stressful job/divorce etc., and at a time when I wasn't smoking weed. Ripe weed certainly helped me break the relentless ruminating on unwanted thoughts and seemed to break the chain as it were. I can definitely see the correct weed helping with other types of OCD as well.

Good luck to you man. Its been easy for me after I got over that 2 week hump. I failed at least 3 times before I got over it. Im very fortunate to have not been bitten by the booze bug as bad as a lot in my family have. Im good as long as I can exercise, longer than 4 days without lifting or running is when I start to get into trouble. Head doctor thinks that its my untreated adhd manifesting as depression, he may be onto something, because exercise keeps my adhd in check for the most part.

I'm smoking lemon skunk just now,it's working pretty good for me so far,I even answered the phone yesterday and I never answer the phone.
Also maybe not for everyone, but medicinal mushrooms can really help in the right situation.

CBD helps a lot of people with anxiety, I've found Dinafems Industrial Plant CBD to be a good smoke. It's 50/50 thc/cbd still gives a decent high like a sativa, I think it's a hybrid.
