Plant Magic Soil and Biotabs

Hey all,

I've used Biobizz for years with constant problems so this is my 1st run using Plant Magic Soil. Question is, I have Biobizz Fishmix left, Plant Magic Organic Bloom and Biotabs but am not sure what to use with this soil?

Water Quality is "Moderately Soft"

Calcium mg Ca/l: 21
Magnesium mg Mg/l: 5.5
Hardness as mg/l CaCO3: 78


01/ Should the soil be good for Auto's until they show sex?
02/ If soil is good for first 3 weeks, can I get away with just Biotabs or Oldtimers Bloom for flower or will I need both?

I've no idea with your water chap mine is hard water but I have used the same soil for years growing autos and it'll will last a good 4 weeks before needing any nutrients adding then it's up to how big and hungry they are after that
I also use their old timers organic bloom which is quite weak so it's hard to over feed and I also use biobizz fish mix the bottle I have is like 5 years old and smells really sweet but helps condition the soil so why not

Very similar to my water.

I’ve grown in PM soil using Old Timers and it’s not easy. Daily Epsom Salt sprays during veg and 1/4ml of Magnecal in every water to make up for the tap water’s shortcomings will be necessary.

If you’re not too worried about pretty plants (and there’s really no reason to be) you’ll be fine.

Never used biotabs.

Happy to chip in if you start a diary as this is very similar to what I’ve been through.

Thanks for the info GG, good to know how long the soil is good for, I'll stick the first couple of feeds with fishmix then switch to the bloom.

Thanks for the Info H, I've got some Epsom Salts in the cupboard so I'll keep an eye out for any Mag issues.
