Default Should I crank the light up in flower?

I've read on message boards that it needs more light 'for flower', were they meaning that you need more light to get them into flower or they need more light for the entire duration of flower?

Autoflowes just need time to turn over. Photos need 12 hours of dark to turn over.

I believe they meant the plant can use more light in flower vs veg.

    Cheers,

they need more light during flower. Like turning up the light
about a week or two into flower and then turning it down for
the last couple weeks of flower. It is not necessary though if
you don't have the ability to do so. If you have hps and a dimmable
ballast or led that is dimmable then you can do it.

I flipped them a few days ago. They've only been getting 10-11 hours of darkness but they seem to be responding very well. Flower is exciting, I'm sure it's this way for everyone's first grow

I cranked it up ~10%, hand test felt ok. Shouldn't be too much for them

If you want them to flower they need at least 12 hour dark period.

I've forgotten to cut the lights off in time the last 3 nights, been only getting 10 or 11. They're still progressing in flower. It's quite unbelievable, I knew this was coming but they change so much daily

I think my lights max is right around there. It's the phlizon re2000w. I dont think it pills more than 200w from the wall.

If you are in 4sqft or more, than turn it all the way up.
