My favourite strain gets 10 weeks of 12/12. On chop day, there may or may not be a single amber tric on one of the plants.

Did it take that long for the trichomes to turn?
I wasn't in a rush for a harvest & had the time so I thought why not?

...but 13 weeks is too long

Yeah, the trichs, if memory serves, suggested that I could have harvested at around week 11 - but it would have been a racy head high! I could (I reckon) have kept her going another couple of weeks after chop, but I'd had enough by then!

This Nellie Haze was a real trip to grow. I want to do it again. I cut it at 12 weeks, should have gone full 14 weeks, like GHS says. Smoke was good, but could have been A lot better, if I weren't so impatice.

That's really interesting. I would think though that if you continue flowering that strain it would eventually produce amber trichs?

Yea...I know the feeling. I start getting real impatient after 9 weeks of flowering if the ambers aren't popping through.

    Awesome grow.

I couldn't help but notice your white wire? training support. I like that! Is the support one-piece or are you adding rings as it grows?

It would. Which is why I chop them at 10 weeks.

I'm sedentary enough without adding couchlock.
