I wouldn't bother with drippers or drip emitters...
1/2" will be the feed from the pump (given they size of pump required) I'd then use some form of manifold like a Y or T piece to split the flow & reduce to a smaller diameter pipe to keep pressure - This should water the plants evenly as the water pressure should balance itself out.
I'd imagine those halo's have a flow rating of what sized pump should be used with them (1000l/ph should be ample).
Then you just need a timer that works in seconds like the one Dr. Coco lists on his DIY guide.
I'd build it then tests it over a couple of buckets & make sure it works evenly & time how long it takes to flow a litre / 1\4 gallon to each bucket (or whatever measurement you use as a reference point in the stone age
). Be easy to make for two plants & could easily be tweaked with valves. Just have to keeps the outputs (at the pots) the same height as if ones lower gravity palms some of the water off that way...
