    Hey mate.

    Running 4 runtz muffins

    100 watt.

Will look for a 400watt unless some one can name a decent not over priced one suitable for myself.

How much are you looking to spend? I can only recommend what I use which is HLG, Invisible sun and Migro aray. They're all more expensive than mars

I understand your reasons but their light quality at the very least has improved immensely. Their customer service may still be a different story, but their lights have definitely improved.

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

    Am I reading this right?
    1.4m x 1.4m = 1.96 m2
    1.96 to ft2 = 21 ft2
    600w / 21ft2 = 28w per ft2 and you want to run a cheap led at half the watts 14w ft2

Good luck but you're better off with the HPS unless you buy good quality LEDs (450w vs 600 HPS).

I have never grown with LEDs but it seems to be the rule of thumb, best LEDs 25w ft2, good LEDs 35w ft2. JMO

How come you slag them off so much then? If you have no actual usage experience whats the basis for the constant hate?

You can sing the praises of HPS without trying to bash the LEDS every chance you get

I am not trying to put LEDs down, xtchill wants to use a 300w led in a 21 ft2 flower room, just saying the watts per ft2 are too low, there are loads of LEDS that will cover this space but guessing you need closer to 600w of led.
Do you think the Phlizon pro series 2000w is a good led for a 1.4m x 1.4m flower room?

This wasn't the right place for my previous comment my apologies. But in general your prevoius posts have come across that way to me. This morning I typed before thinking and it should have been in a pm rather than here. Again I can only apologise.

The philzon, while not "the best" led certainly isn't the worst and will be fine in that space for the number of plants he's running. He's lighting the plants not the tent. And after already spending 180 quid on it might as well use it. If it turns out it's not enough he can switch back to the hps or run both side by side, Krofam uses hps and led combined to great effect

It's not gonna pull maximum potential yield from the space, but will be adequate to get started and grow four decent quality medium sized plants under.
