I have gone ahead and bought some biobizz all mix.

Am I right in assuming this doesn't need nutes or PH testing?

Coco you will need to ph your water and water more frequently, with there being no nutrients for plants in coco straight out the bag you will need to feed nutrients early starting off with a very weak mix ramping up as they mature.

You could ask for someone to mentor you in what ever you choose.

Correct. The soil will run out of nutes after 3-6 weeks depending on pot size. Then you have to add nutes

In general no. Depend a little on the tap water you are using.

I grow in soil. I phed my 2 first grows. Had alot of problems. Stopped on the 3rd and didnt see any problems. My tap ph is 7.3 and very soft so I add calmag and nutes and just give it to the plant. The soil will buff the ph for me.

Mannn... fwiw as a new grower, i would run photos instead of autos. Autos are sooo finicky, so easy to overwater in compact soil, so easy to burn in amended soil, so tiny... Or atleast thats my experience.
if you go with autos, i'd suggest a super loose soil mix like promix hp, or half happy frog / half promix. Go super light on nutes. And at some point you're def going to need both a ph and ppm tester.
    Best of luck to you!
