Burned, yellow tips on newgrowth, but only water..

Hi, im a bit confused here, my plants are 12 days old and are showing yellow tips on newgrowth, but im feeding them only ph-ed water (6.8). Im have them in soil, plagron lightmix, autoflowers, soil is as it is, no amendments, i had same result with biobiz lightmix. Data of our tap water, 7,2 Ph, 0.4 EC. Is 0.4 too much? Thanks

Sounds like the soil is just a little hot for the seedlings, they should grow through it.

Your tap water will be fine.

I’d stop meddling with your tap water. As Mac says, it’s fine as it is from the tap without mucking around with the pH.

Thanks for fast response, i figured as much the first time(biobiz) so i used another soil, mineral light fertilized this time (plagron), but its even worse, so i wondered, since its lightmix. Now i measured run-out EC and it its around 1.8, ph around 6.2, they got nothing but water till this time. Now that is in my opinion, alot for seedlings and autos in veg stage. I do not understand how this "lightmix" is supposed to be good for seedlings and cuttings... Next time i guess i will flush it first or/and, mix it with coco coir..

There’s absolutely no point in measuring the run off through soil…futile. You’ll drive yourself bonkers with that.

Honestly, just keep it simple. Straight tap water is fine for a few weeks and then slowly introduce nutrients.
