    You really don’t need a big pot to grow a good plant in coco.
    As Bud says you want a good root system come flower.So your pot size should really reflect your veg time.Take into account more nutrient more money.
    Also when choosing pot size it depends on how often you are able to water.If you are automated great you don’t need to worry.But if not there may be days when you are not able to tend them.
    Hand feeding is tedious and there will be times you think I’ll do it tomorrow and tomorrow could be too late lol.Been there done that.
    If hand watering a larger pot gives you the grace of a few days.That’s the only reason to go for a big pot.
    A 2 litre pot is good enough lol.
    It took me years to figure out what you just summarized in a few minutes.

    I'm still new and I was advised to step down from 4x 15l pots in 0.8x0.8x1.8m to something smaller. Went for 2x 12l pots. Seems like a great shout from the folk on here. The hive mind and all that.

    P.s. Beth that 2l grow is outrageous btw. Looks like a cracker!
