    Angry Answered: recycled coco mistake

I recycled my coco & grew two monsters, nly week 7 all the leaves are dried up & dying like a lockout or nitrogen deficiency.

Im worried about rot...you think should crop now or flush for two weeks & crop? 9 week plant.

Have flushed for couple of days then lowered ec level also. Never had trouble before with coco.

If the run off EC &/or PH comes out high, keep flushing with nutrients to bring the run off numbers down. Or if it’s late in the run just flush the coco through with plain water to bring the run off down & let them finish up.

Issues from reusing coco typically come from it not being buffered & stealing cal-mag from the plant (which probably isn’t an issue late in the run)."

It depends on what the trichs look like... take any time frame the breeder gives you with a pinch of salt

I've recycled Coco without problems before, you do get a wetter Coco second time around. Since you are doing a scrog you should strip ALL leaves and flowers below the net, then strip all the big fans above the net. Doing those two things and increasing air flow should allow you to continue without mold, then just watch your trichs.

If you think your locked out run some fresh, PH’d nutrient solution through them & measure the run off EC & PH… This will give you an indication of what’s going on in the pot/coco.

If the run off EC &/or PH comes out high, keep flushing with nutrients to bring the run off numbers down. Or if it’s late in the run just flush the coco through with plain water to bring the run off down & let them finish up.

Issues from reusing coco typically come from it not being buffered & stealing cal-mag from the plant (which probably isn’t an issue late in the run).

Thanks, am long time grower & only time ever recycled. I did flush it for few days & brought it back to life, then finishing with low feed now start flush for a week tomorrow then crop. Seems to come out okay in the end.

Really showing to others, not to bother with recycling, less you really know what you are doing.

For two monsters its turned out irie..Chrimbo come early.
