    Default Windburn or light burn?

    Hey guys

Would appreciate your thoughts on this please.

My girls have had a low speed fan pointing at them 24 hours a day, very very low and it was only really blowing the front row and they dont have the problem I am about to show.

It seems a couple in the middle and a few at the back have yellow bud tips now, very crisp and seem "frazzled"

The leaves have also gone yellow and very crispy and feel burnt.

They are at the point now where I rubbed them with my fingers and they just disintegrated.

My lights have always been 2FT minimum away from tip of the plant some have been even further.

Really baffled why it is some and not all and just want to know if this has now screwed the end result up?

I have knocked the oscillating fan off that was directly on them and also bent over the main stems on the ones that were closest to the bulbs just in case they were too close.

Day temp never exceeds 25deg and night time never lower than 20 degClick image for larger version.

looks like light burn to me, fan would have made the issue worse by drying them out a little quicker.

The brown bits in the pic I have circled worry me, looks like it could be mold, give em a good check over.

Doinkbrah has nailed it with Macky's guide. All the info you need is in there

If its brown, slimy, smells of ammonia or anything bad, has grey patches, feels mushy its bad.

wear some gloves and cut off the affected colas. Check them all. bag the colas before removal to prevent spread of the spores.

Its generally caused by high humidity and low airflow allowing spores/bacteria to settle and spread. In your case I would imagine one of the dead leaves has kickstarted it if it is mouldy.

    Brilliant info thanks guys

My humidity is always just below 40%

Will get in there later and go through them all, I never knew how hard this growing mark could be!

    These girls are so temperamental

Does look like you got some bud rot there.
If it is get some gloves on,remove it all and any buds that it’s touching.
Turning the fan down low at this stage won’t have helped.

The plants appear stressed-out with having a variety pack of symptoms. Could be due to a dramatic pH shift or dramatic shifts in soil moisture. Might want to check your notes on those possibles.

Some of the leaves have a very waxy, leathery, look, like they had too much N for a while. That may also be the cause of the brown leaf tips. The brown spots on the buds concerns me most. If it is not mold now, it will be unless you remove the damaged plant material. Looks like you've got some other nute/light issues that may have been made worse by the fan.
