    Default Problem with one plant

    Hi,

I'm currently growing 4 plants, each the same strain (Northern Lights Autos) and all in the same medium (Canna Terra Pro).

The issue is that one of them looks slightly pale and almost yellowing, and had significantly less growth. I'm thinking it may be a PH issue locking out nutes, but if so, why would this only be affecting one plant?

    Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me, really appreciate it.

Picture 1 is the plant with the issue,
Picture 2 is doing much better (although some yellow tips, so I've not fed this one for about 2 weeks),
Picture 3 is of 2 plants that are 2 weeks behind the others, but are also looking fine to me. All are in the same soil.

Soil, hydro or coco?: - Soil, Canna Terra Pro

Strain: Cash Crop (Genetics - Northern Lights + Big Bud + Ruderalis)

    Photo or Auto: Auto

Plant age: Sprouted on 24th October, so 5 weeks and 4 days

Pot size: 13.4 litres (3.5 US gallons or 2.95 UK gallons)

Has it been repotted? and when?: Unfortunately yes, I forgot that they were autos when I planted them in their first pots! (I had originally ordered photos, but there were issues). Repotted 2 weeks after sprouting.

Soil type: Canna Terra Pro + perlite

Nutes or additives used and how often for soil: Plant 1 (the one with the issue) - Canna Terra Vega Started with 1.5ml per litre on first feed and increased to 3ml per litre at last feed. 2 days between feeds (too often? Pots are very light before watering). Plant 2, just water. This plant is doing much better, but seems to have a few yellow tips.

    Air temps (max min): 23degC day, 19degC night (73.4 / 66.2 degF)

    Res temps (max min): N/A

Humidity: Not measured, I'm in the UK where RH is generally quite high, if that helps?

Lighting type and wattage (hps, led, cfl): LED

    Light schedule: 19/5

PH level: I only have a crappy PH probe, (one that also measures light and moisture), but yesterday that read about 7.5.

EC (hydro and coco only) N/A

    Background EC. N/A

Feed schedule and nutes (for hydro and coco) N/A

Tbh i dont rly see any big issue? Maybe some1 else have better eyes then me.
It might just be that you are nearing the end of what your soil can provide of nutes and that she is giving you a signal that she is starting to get hungry.

I think you've been bitten by the genetics bug that insists on throwing a runt into the mix every grow. There's a link in my signature to a Pineapple Express grow where I had something very similar. Healthy enough, just decided it didnt want to get tall like her sisters. Not sure there is much to do about it. I tossed mine because it was so far behind in flowering.

    YMMV

    Cheers,
    B

I've rarely grown genetics stable enough not to offer up a different pheno out of four plants. I always kind of like it when I get something different.

That said, one plant being a little closer to a oscillating fan can be enough to cause issues. I once had a plant in the middle of my drain table that got nutrients from all the other plants cuz it was sagging just slightly underneath it. Sometimes it's just a little things.

1st pic looks good, second pic you've got very minor nute burn (brown leaf tips, very dark green leaves) and the last pic looks good too.
