    Like I said. It's a guide.

Temps are OK but EC may very much vary

So what would you change it to, bearing in mind it's a "guide". All info I've read says to aim for 1.8 through late veg and flower.
I realise all this can change but surely good to have figures in place to aim for?

My new seedlings start at ec 1.8. They finish at ec 1.8. In between start and finish they get, you guessed it, ec 1.8.

What I aim for is self sufficiency. I want to be self sufficient. I am self sufficient. How I get there is merely a detail. I could be self sufficient doing it a different way but the way I'm doing it is more convenient to me.

lucas formula + tap water gives a pH that is suitable for passive hydro so I don't use pH down. Takes me 5 minutes to mix up 20L of nutes.

Here's my daily plant maintenance routine:

Empty runoff bucket if needed. Dip jug in nute res and pour onto plant(s), aiming for a minimum of 10% runoff. If the nute res is low, mix up another 20L of lucas formula and pour it into the nute res.

Check your background water and then find a nutrient line that's suitable to your background water and see how much they recommend feeding, then cut that in half for seedlings.

Most nutrient companies will give you a schedule that'll work for mature plants, most if you try and use the seedling recommendations are too hot.

What you actually feed your plant is going to depend upon what your pH, water level, and EC level is after you fed.

There is a nice little PDF that you can use to help determine what your feed level will be.
